Based on the Agreement on Business Cooperation of the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton (MPKS) and Bosna Bank International (BBI) d.d. Sarajevo, signed on August 26, 2022. Today, a public invitation was published for small business entities from the area of Sarajevo Canton to submit applications for approval of financing at a rate of 0 percent.

This financing program is intended for business entities to ensure current liquidity, more productive operations and growth of economic activities, procurement of fixed assets and investments (long-term financing), i.e. for financing permanent working capital.

“The approved loan (financing) per beneficiary is limited to one million KM, with a maximum repayment term of up to 84 months, not including a grace period of up to seven months. The fee for processing requests at Bosna Bank International for this line is 0.25%. The amount of the profit rate is 2.89% before the subsidy, i.e. 0% with the subsidy from the Ministry of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton.

For the realization of this Agreement, BBI Bank secured 49.5 million marks, while the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton provided the amount of 2.5 million marks for the costs of subsidizing the profit rate.

The public invitation, which defines the right to participate, purpose of funds, amounts and deadlines, criteria, required documentation and other details, was published today in the daily newspaper, and is available on the websites of BBI Bank (bbi.ba) and the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton (mp .ks.gov.ba).
