Dear clients,
Recently, there have been cases of fraud and misuse of payment cards, with the aim of extorting confidential user data, such as usernames, passwords and card information. We want to warn you and draw your attention to fraud through certain applications for online shopping, such as the appearance of a fake Temu application that imitates or has the same appearance as the official version. A notice has been placed on the official Temu app advising customers to be careful, stressing that Temu will never send SMS messages requesting additional information.
Fake senders take advantage of the curiosity of users of certain applications. Their address may come under the guise of urgency, with demands that you do something immediately to prevent a bad situation. Therefore, do not rush to share personal information or your card details. Think carefully before taking any action.
Therefore, we urge you to be careful when downloading applications and to use only official platforms to download safe applications. Read user comments and ratings carefully before installing an app, as fake apps often have dubious or fake reviews.
We kindly ask you to always stay alert!
If anyone contacts you asking for personal information, payment card information or other important information, do not open or respond to such inquiries. In case of any doubts, we invite you to contact us via email info@bbi.ba or free info phone 080 020 020.
