First career experience: Successfully completed the first cycle of education of the BBI Program “Young Talents”

Creating the first relevant experiences is invaluable for turning good into great

As part of the BBI Program ‘Young Talents’, which started in October this year, ten participants successfully completed the first planned cycle of educations that enabled them to acquire practical knowledge and skills. Experienced mentors, employees of BBI Bank, through systematic work on specific projects, provided an incentive for the development of key business skills that will help the participants in the further development of their professional careers as well as in the subsequent stages of this Program.

“BBI Bank is continuously focused on creating a stimulating environment in which the talent, abilities and work of employees come to the fore. The successful implementation of the first part of the cycle of the ‘Young Talents’ Program confirmed to us that we are a desirable employer for the young generations to whom we opened our doors in the desire to become part of our team, acquire knowledge and skills that will benefit them in the future, push the boundaries and really they live excellence,” stated Sanela Mrgan-Balić, Director of the HR Department at Bosna Bank International d.d.

“I see the BBI Bank program as a significant opportunity within which I can show my full potential to build my career, but also my personal character. The program is excellently designed and conceived so that we make certain decisions ourselves and take responsibility while working in various sectors of the Bank. Of course, all these decisions are followed by mentors who selflessly pass on their experience and knowledge to us young, future bankers,” emphasized Emin Efendira, a participant of the program.

During the next four months, participants of the “Young Talents” Program, through planned trainings and work in different departments, will create valuable work experience.

“I am very happy about the opportunity to gain my first work experience and learn the basics of bank operations. The program perfectly suits the needs of a young man who is in demand, who knows that he wants to work in a bank, but not in which department. So, practical work in different segments will really help me in my decision. I am grateful to the bank’s employees who share their knowledge and experience with us and who confirm how important it is to have a stimulating work environment for career growth. Because of all the above, I will happily suggest to my friends to apply for the ‘Young Talents’ Program next year,” said Adna Rahman, a participant of the program.

Upon completion of the Program, participants will have the opportunity to be assigned to a specific position for which they show the most potential and interest.
