BBI Bank and the City of Konjic secured an additional 5 million KM for young people, companies and craftsmen

Contracts on business cooperation were signed in Konjic between the City of Konjic and Bosna Bank International d.d. Sarajevo, for favorable financing projects for young people up to 40 years of age from the area of Konjic who are solving the housing issue for the first time, as well as for craftsmen and companies engaged in agricultural activities in the area of the City of Konjic.

The city of Konjic allocated 200,000 KM for subsidizing the profit margin, while BBI bank provided funds in the amount of 5,000,000.00 KM.

“These new subsidized lines are part of our administration’s measures to enable young people from the Konjic area to own an apartment or house, and our businessmen to receive financial resources on extremely favorable terms for financing their business activities. Earlier, a contract was signed with BBI Bank on subsidizing the profit margin of the financing of business companies, worth 11 million KM, so that the total available funds are over 16 million KM to support our economy and citizens. The city of Konjic allocated a total of 500,000 KM for these purposes,” said the mayor of Konjic, Mr. Osman Ćatić invited those interested to register and apply for funds on time.

Young people aged 18 to 40 have the right to participate in the profit margin subsidy for the purchase of a newly built or apartment under construction, as well as the purchase of a house under construction or a completely new house, with the City of Konjic subsidizing the profit margin for the entire repayment period of the housing financing, whose the amount does not exceed 100,000.00 KM and whose repayment term is not longer than 20 years.

“I am pleased that today in front of BBI Bank I am attending the ceremonial signing of these two contracts that will facilitate the way for young people from Konjic to buy an apartment or house, and help craftsmen and companies who want to finance their business activities in the field of agriculture.” – said Azra Hadžiomeragić , member of the Management Board of Bosna Bank International d.d. Sarajevo. Emphasizing that this is financing on extremely favorable terms, Hadžiomeragić pointed out that BBI bank allocated 3 million KM for the project for young people in Konjica, and an additional 2 million KM for the financing of tradesmen and companies.

Craftsmen and commercial companies engaged in agricultural activity and based in the Konjic area will be able to apply for financial resources at BBI Bank, which will also be subsidized by the City of Konjic. The maximum amount of approved financing for one company is 500,000.00 KM, and for craftsmen up to 100,000.00 KM. In exceptional cases, the City of Konjic can agree to larger amounts of funding. Financing is with a repayment period of up to 48 months with a profit margin of up to 3.99% and with the possibility of a grace period of up to 6 (six) months.

A public call for applications will be announced and published within the next 10 days on the official websites of the City of Konjic and BBI Bank, which will define all application conditions and details of how to apply.
