Supervisory Board of Bosna Bank International d.d. Sarajevo, with the prior consent of the FBiH Banking Agency, appointed a new Bank Management. Alek Bakalović, a corporate banker with many years of experience, officially took over the position of President of the Management Board. Bakalović has more than 20 years of work in international financial institutions, where he held managerial positions as executive director and board member in the field of finance and treasury, as well as investment and corporate banking.

Through the synergy of new and existing forces, knowledge and expertise, we will work together on the quality of services and customer satisfaction. New member of the Management Board of BBI d.d. Sarajevo is also Azra Hadžiomeragić, who will manage the retail segment. She has a master’s degree in economic sciences with almost two decades of experience in banking, of which more than ten years in key management positions. For the last six years, she held the position of Director of Retail Sales in one of the largest banks in Bosnia and Herzegovina. the market. She led the project of transformation and digitization of the business network through which, for the first time in Bosnia and Herzegovina, market, implemented innovations such as branches without cash and an agile approach in sales.
The member of the Risk and Finance Management is Emina Šišić, who achieved a successful banking career by working in management positions in several banking institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania. She received her MBA degree from Griffith College Dublin and Nottingham Trent University London.
Investment banker Nedžad Gušić, as a member of the Management Board, continues to manage the segment of business with the economy. The Master of Economic Sciences has been working in the banking sector for more than fifteen years as a member of the bank’s management, director of the directorate for development and coordination in the Corporate sector, manager of the investment and financial management office, and manager of the segment for business with medium-sized enterprises. Gušić was selected as the “Best Corporate and Investment Banker in Bosnia and Herzegovina” in 2021 by “International Business Magazine”.
