The 11th Sarajevo Business Forum will be held on May 11 and 12 in Sarajevo, and support for the largest business and investment event in Southeast Europe was provided by the City Administration of the City of Sarajevo and Mayor Benjamina Karić, who will host a welcome dinner for all participants and investors from of the whole world. The welcome dinner will be held on May 10 in the Sarajevo City Hall.
The theme of this year’s Sarajevo Business Forum is “Nearshoring – a perspective for the region”, and the interest of local communities from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina in participating in the Forum and presenting business and investment projects is increasing. Representatives of municipalities have expressed interest in participating with their own projects at this year’s conference, and the presence of a large number of business entities from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected.
The arrival of a delegation from the City of Bijeljina led by Mayor Ljubiša Petrović was announced, the municipality of Modriča applied with several local projects, while the City of Tešanj traditionally participates in the Forum with its business projects. It is important to mention the Central Bosnian Canton, which supported the participation of businessmen from this Canton and the presentation of their projects.
Delegations from the Municipality of Travnik, Municipality of Novi Travnik, Municipality of Breza, Zenica-Doboj Canton, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, and numerous businessmen from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina announced their arrival at the 11th Sarajevo Business Forum.
In addition, the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, as a strategic partner of the 11th Sarajevo Business Forum, enabled all municipalities from Sarajevo Canton and Bosnian-Podrinje Canton to present themselves at this year’s Sarajevo Business Forum. 120 companies from these two cantons have, in addition to the presentation of their business and projects, the opportunity to meet with potential partners and investors interested in investing in our country through free participation at the SBF.
The 11th Sarajevo Business Forum is being held this year under the auspices of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with a strategic partner – the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, and the shareholders of BBI Bank – Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank ( ADIB), and other partners.
