49.5 million KM in interest-free funds are available to businessmen at BBI Bank

Today, in the premises of BBI Bank, a ceremony was held to sign new contracts with companies that have been granted financial resources with a subsidized profit margin from the Sarajevo Canton Line. Financial resources were allocated on the basis of the Public Call and the Agreement on Business Cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of the KS and Bosna Bank International (BBI). These are companies from the fields of food production, metal industry and electrical engineering.

Financing agreements were signed by: Nedžad Gušić, member of the Management Board for the Corporate segment, and the owners and directors of three companies: Nermin Ademović, owner of the company “Adana & CO”, Rinan Al-Tawil, member of the Management Board of “General Engineering” d.o.o., on behalf of BBI Bank. and Edna and Alija Hasanović, owners of “Mesna industrija Gora”.
The signing was also attended by the Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, Adnan Delić. He expressed satisfaction with the great interest of companies when it comes to these funds, evaluating the entire project as a great support for the domestic economy.

“The interest-free credit line is a program that we at the Ministry of Economy are particularly proud of, and we believe that through this method of financing, we directly influence the strengthening of industrial capacity in Sarajevo Canton. The program is good, and I believe that next year it will further develop and offer additional benefits to businessmen, which will again have a direct impact on strengthening our overall business environment through the expansion of production and the creation of new jobs,” Minister Delić said.

Today’s signing of three new contracts with business entities in the Sarajevo Canton continued the successful implementation of the joint project of the Ministry of Economy of the KS and BBI Bank, according to which by the end of January 2023, 49.5 million KM of loan funds with a subsidized profit rate by the Sarajevo Canton will be placed in economic development of Sarajevo Canton.
“This is an exceptional opportunity for businessmen to realize their development projects on very favorable terms and to keep the existing or increase the number of employees. BBI Bank provided 49.5 million KM from its own sources for this purpose, and the Ministry of Economy of KS covers the costs of regressing the profit margin, so businessmen will receive funds at a rate of zero percent, after the subsidy. The maximum amount of financing per user is one million KM, with a repayment period of up to 84 months depending on the type and amount of the financing request. Priority in realizing the right to incentive funding is given to business entities that state in the submitted application for funding that they will provide new employment. Stimulating financial resources are intended for subjects to ensure current liquidity, more productive operations and growth of economic activities, procurement of fixed assets and investments and financing for permanent working capital,” said Nedžad Gušić, a member of the BBI Bank Management Board, adding that BBI Bank is the absolute leader on the market when regarding the line of subsidies and interest-free financing and invited all those interested to take advantage of the opportunity to apply for these funds at BBI Bank by the end of the year.
