Based on the Business Cooperation Agreement, Bosna Bank International (BBI) d.d. Sarajevo and the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, signed on 16.10.2023. Today, a public invitation was published for small business entities from the area of Sarajevo Canton to submit applications for approval of financing at a rate of 0 percent.
This significant support is part of the Small Business Development Program and was created with the aim of facilitating access to financial resources necessary for business development of these companies.
Financing at a rate of 0 percent with a subsidy on the costs of the profit rate0
The total value of the new contracted line of financing provided by BBI Bank is 23.5 million KM, while the profit rate subsidy of the Ministry of Economy of KS is 1.5 million KM. Thus, future users of this type of financing will have available financing at a rate of zero percent. When submitting the requests in question, the users will not have processing costs, and they also have the option of contracting a deferred repayment period of 9 months. The maximum individual amounts of financing that business users will be able to apply for are 2 million KM, for a repayment period of up to 7 years.
In this way, the total costs of borrowing for business entities are reduced, they are enabled to access capital on more favorable terms, which in the long term can lead them to innovation and improvement of competitiveness, creation of new jobs and encouragement of innovation.
