Notice on the conversion of Croatian currency (HRK) to euro currency (EUR)

Dear customers,

We inform you that the Government of the Republic of Croatia has made a decision to announce the introduction of EUR as the official currency in the Republic of Croatia, effective from January 1, 2023, when the HRK (Croatian kuna) currency will cease to be valid as an official means of payment.

We invite you to visit the nearest BBI bank branch, no later than 29 December 2022. year, so that you can convert existing balances on your account from HRK to BAM or another foreign currency. By this date, you can also perform the conversion online through the electronic services of mBBI/eBBI.

Otherwise, the bank will automatically convert all funds in the client’s accounts in the specified currency HRK to the currency EUR on the dates

30-31.12.2022. year, according to the valid middle exchange rate of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for that day and without conversion fee.

For any additional information, please contact us via e-mail: info@bbi.ba or via the free phone number: 0800 200 20.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and look forward to continued successful business cooperation.
