Today marks the beginning of the three-month paid program “10 BBI Talents,” designed to provide young, educated individuals with their first work experience in the banking sector.
Through structured tasks and training across various departments of the bank, and with continuous support from mentors, the ten selected participants learn about banking processes, develop key business skills, and build a professional network.
The program was launched in 2023 with the aim of connecting educated young people with the labor market, providing them with practical knowledge, and enabling them to work directly on projects that shape the bank’s daily operations. So far, 20 participants have taken part in the program, many of whom have continued their professional careers at BBI Bank.
“By hiring young talents without prior work experience, we send a clear message – we believe in the potential of those just entering the professional world. Young people bring freshness and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, which is especially important in the age of artificial intelligence. Through mentorship, training, and open communication, we provide them with an environment where they can grow, learn, and contribute from day one. The long-term implementation of this initiative reflects our social responsibility and also represents a strategic investment in the future,” said Sanela Mrgan-Balić, Director of the Human Resources Department at BBI Bank.
BBI Bank remains committed to developing young talents, convinced that they are the key drivers of future success and innovation.
