This year’s Climathon 2025, a 24-hour hackathon dedicated to environmental challenges, was successfully held in Sarajevo with the support of BBI Bank as a proud sponsor.
The event brought together young innovators, IT experts, and entrepreneurs with the goal of creating tangible solutions for a sustainable future.
Climathon 2025 focused on four key challenges: reducing food waste, combating electronic waste, developing green technologies, and launching new ecological initiatives.
Throughout the intense hackathon, participants worked with mentors from the fields of ecology, technology, and business to develop ideas with real potential for implementation in local communities.
The most successful teams were awarded for their innovation, sustainability, and feasibility. Prizes included financial support, educational vouchers, and access to startup incubators, while special recognition was given for social impact and technological innovation.
