Line of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton | Bosna Bank International

BBI Bank, in cooperation with the Government of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton, is offering financing for companies and entrepreneurs whose seat or business unit is located on the territory of this Canton. This line enables entrepreneurs to receive financings at BBI Bank under more favourable conditions and subsidised rate of 1.89%.

The right to participation have small companies and craftsmen who:

  • are registered as companies pursuant to provisions of the Law on Economic Associations of FBiH,
  • who have registration and who perform registered activity on the territory of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton, Goražde,
  • who are registered for at least one (1) year until submission of Financing Application,
  • who are profitable and have liquid operations and satisfactory creditworthiness,
  • who regularly settle all liabilities for taxes and contributions,
  • who have current loan debts in A or B category (if this category is not a result of default in repayment of liabilities).

Financing Beneficiaries can also be public companies, if they meet other criteria. Exceptionally, Financing Beneficiaries can be companies who have been active for less than 1 year if they are acceptable for the Bank.

 

Financing Beneficiaries cannot be:

  • state and financial institutions, associations and foundations,
  • companies and craftsmen who have blocked accounts, who are in bankruptcy or liquidation,
  • companies with outstanding liabilities for public income and who were fined due to business misdemeanours,
  • companies and craftsmen whose activity or purpose of funds is not allowed under the Bank’s internal documents.

Application Forms for financing with required documentation are submitted in closed envelopes with reference “Application Form for financing from the Line of Bosnian-Podrinje Canton”, personally to the Protocol Office or by recommended mail, to the address:

For implementation of this Financing Line, BBI Bank provided funds in the amount of 18,900,000 BAM, and the Government of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde – the Ministry of Economy, shall provide subsidies with the amount of 378,000 BAM for the part of annual profit margin in the amount of 2%.

Funds from this Financing Line should enable the initiation of new and maintenance of the existing production, providing of services, higher capacity utilisation, maintenance of existing job posts, keeping the existing number of companies, overcoming negative impacts of the economic crisis, new employment and export increase.

Financings can also be used for redemption/refinancing of existing loan debts that are regularly paid by the company or entrepreneur but those funds are under higher interest rate.

Financing Line shall be used for:

  • short-term financing for the working capital,
  • long-term financing for permanent working capital,
  • fixed assets, and
  • investments.

Required documentation for submitting Application Form for the approval of financing of the BPK Line is provided below.

Required documentation for application of legal persons:

  • Application Form defining the purpose, amount and repayment period;
  • Decision on registration in the Court Register with all changes and amendments;
  • Excerpt from the Court Register not older than 90 days;
  • Articles of Association and Articles of Foundation of the company;
  • Certificate on Tax Registration from the Tax Administration - ID number;
  • Certificate on registration of VAT taxpayers – VAT number;
  • Notice from the Statistics Bureau on classification by activities;
  • Certificate from authorized Tax Administration/Indirect Tax Authority that there are no due outstanding liabilities based on public income;
  • Certificate from Tax Administration on settled direct taxes, not older than 30 days;
  • Certificate from Indirect Tax Authority on settled indirect taxes, not older than 30 days;
  • Form 2001 – Specification along with salary disbursements
  • Copy ID cards and Residence Certificate of persons authorized for representation;
  • Statement on related entities;
  • Consent for inspection at the Central Loan Register;
  • Report of the External Auditor (only for joint stock companies),
  • Business Plan, projected Balance Sheets and cash flows for the repayment period;
  • Program or Project, Project Summary based on which the Financing Application is submitted;
  • Expected effects in employment pursuant to the Business Plan;
  • Balance Sheet and Income Statement for the previous two years, as well as Preliminary Financial indicators for the current period,
  • Documentation for securing financing and financing collaterals determined by the Bank, in accordance with its business policy and depending on the client’s creditworthiness.
  • Other documents upon the Bank’s request in accordance with the Bank’s internal documents.

Required documentation for application of natural persons (craftsmen and self-employment):

  • Completed and certified Financing Application Form
  • Evidence on special-purpose use of financing funds (pro-forma invoice, invoice, Sales Agreement, certificate on the remaining debt)
  • Decision of authorized municipal body for the performance of activity
  • Copy of the Card of deposited signatures of persons authorized for representation
  • Specification on determining income from self-employment activity for the past two years
  • Certificate on Tax and VAT registration (if the activity is subject to taxes)
  • Copy of ID cards – owner of self-employment activity
  • Copy of Residence Certificate - owner of self-employment activity
  • Relevant document proving that the owner of self-employment activity has the real estate in its possession (apartment, house, land, business premise); Document proving the ownership – Land-Registry Certificate, Real estate Land Folio, Ownership document (only for those areas where land books are not established)
  • Other documents upon the Bank’s request in accordance with the Bank’s internal documents

 

Required documentation for the lien:

Required value of the lien in relation to the amount of approved financing is determined in accordance with the Bank’s documents and depends on the amount of Financing Application Form and total client’s creditworthiness. Usual collateral types accepted by BBI Bank include:

  • Lien on real estates,
  • Lien on equipment,
  • Bills of exchange of the company,
  • Personal bills of exchange of the owner of a company or craft,
  • Agreement on assignation,
  • Insurance policy secured in favour of BBI Bank,
  • Other documents in agreement with the Bank.
